I was at the Providence show on Wednesday, and was really impressed. I
only caught the tail-end of Chessie's set, but I liked the last two things I
heard quite a lot. Stewart Walker played a great set of driving techno
(although few in the audience, Kit Clayton excluded, moved a muscle). The
highlight of the evening, however, was Kit Clayton's set, during which he
created some really astounding dub soundscapes, which seemed to emerge out
of a kind of chaotic fog. (Not a great description, but I haven't had my
coffee yet) In any event, definitely a show worth seeing, if it comes your
way.
