Moodymann is Kenny Dixion Jr. He is from detroit and creates
detroit-flavored house & techno but I don't recall him being
referred to as Mr (well maybe by the young kids in his
neighborhood).
Moodymann does nice house & techno with a slight disco flavor
at times. I haven't heard much of his work but i would recommend
his recent comp CD on Planet E called "A Silent Introduction
to..." It compiles many of his early 12"s on one 2x12"/cd at
a domestic price. This is probably the release you're looking
for.
