I thought this might happen. I should've explained myself a little
better. What I really mean is that diversity and orginality are the
elements in music which other people choose to call 'soul' in music.
It's as simple as that (I hope). As I tried to explain, a lot of people
assume that soulfulness/emotion cannot be defined in music in any other
than these God-like terms. In turn this leads people to believe that
they cannot make music just as good as the stuff they listen to, which I
suppose was the case with other musical forms which required proficiency
in a particular instrument, but electronic music doesn't take this kind
of 'talent', it just requires good ideas and the will to make the music
in the first place (which is a little different).
