That's the sound of the teeny weeny MIDI fairies snapping their fingers!
Actually it's just the MIDI data stream somehow sneaking into the audio
path. Anyone with a soundcard can usually crank up the gain on their
sound card and hear the sound of the mouse scurrying across the screen.
