Though I haven't been impressed with Kirk or Electronic Eye, the one Sandoz track I've heard (off =New Electronica 4,= the sample goes "I represent the 20th-century smile...") was incredible. Are the albums worth it, and do they cover similar ground? Thanx in advanx. I write: I you dig the Sandoz track off of NE 4, you will like the first two Sandoz records, especially the first one. In order of release date they are Digital Lifeforms and Intensley Radioactive. I consider both to be ambient dub classics, but then again I'd buy practically anything from RHK. Digital Liforms has a more housey 4/4 vibe to it ala the track you refer to from NE 4, whereas Intensely Radioactive covers a wider range of tempos and sounds. I think Intensely is a little more developed and 'original' (not depending too much on the standard 909 bass drum), but (as Miles noted) you can't deny the natural flow that RHK gets going on Digital Lifeforms. I think 'Drum Meditation', a more downtempo bass heavy bloopy dub track off of Digital is pure heaven. Go buy'em both they're worth it. peace Nate Nate Harrison Digital Magician Inc. www.digimagician.com nate@digimagician.com 313.994.7316
