Not that I'm bitter or anything but I posted a little comment about this probably a year and a half ago. I thought it pretty strange at the time. Amongst my purchases on Sunday: H.I.A. & Pete Namlook - "S.H.A.D.O." All the track titles refer to the Gerry Anderson series UFO (Ie 'Maintaining Scan for UFOs' etc.) but it isn't littered with dialogue samples, thankfully. There are a mixture of beat-y tracks with that familiar interlocking Bobby Bird style and pure ambient numbers. On a brief skim through I was a bit worried but a proper listen provided ample reassurance. If you liked the other recent HIA collaborations then I'd say get this as well. On Fax, of course. Vainqueuer - "Elevations" Nice metal box - nice tunes. No surprises for Basic Channel admirers but would you really want any. I may be able to buy the Mesmer Variations CD which has a Gescom track. Can some lucky owner tell me whether the rest of the CD is any good (and indeed whether the Gescom tune fits into that category)? adam
