That might have been Return of the DJ 2. Anyway, I'll use this as a chance
to recommend Deep Concentration (Om) again. It has a Latyrx track, plus
X-men, Cut Chemist, Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, etc. (I'll post a
tracklisting if anyone cares). Best part about it is the way it mixes up
styles. It's a dj compilation, not a scratching or even hiphop comp.
There's some acid jazz, some spacey abstract stuff, a DJ Shadowesque track,
a couple scratching tracks, and there isn't a bad one in there. I've heard
that it's a lot more "musical" than the RotDJ comps. Plus you get an
enhanced CD with a cheesy beatbox, which is alright, sorta fun.
