Hi Folks, Whilst I find talk of sample rates and hearing ranges pretty boring I am amused by non-quality-of-sound-reasons for preferences. For example, the pro-vinyl camp *always* mentions the joint-rolling issue whilst the pro-digital camp *always* mention the in-car issue. How about this: I've been burgled twice in the last 4 years. Each time I lost a sizeable CD collection. Each time the vinyl remained untouched. Therefore the seriously anal trainspotter should buy vinyl :-) Anything to add?! GRob ;-) NP: Howard Shore's soundtrack to 'Crash' which, despite being guitar based, is as rhythmic, involving and unnerving as any IDM release I've heard recently. The film is superb as well, by the way.
