I've been meaning to ask this for a while now - I have two tracks by Carl, both supposedly called "Evolution." The first is on the Planet E Psyche/BFC comp, the one with the heavily phased hi-hats and bleepy bassline. The second is on Transmat's 'Relics' comp, with a clipped, terse rhythm track (a slightly different mix of this is on the Psyche/BFC disc as "Galaxy"). I'd like to know which one really is "Evolution" (of course, both could be - Carl's done more than one track called "The Climax," for instance). More importantly, which one inspired Tom and Mark to start up their label? :) C. -- C.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.com) "We don't relax, we Rolex"
