i still listen to autechre's remix of lexus on 33 rpm. 45 is nice, but
that song is gorgeous at a slower speed. most stuff sounds better on 33 -
their mail order 12", gescom's 'viral' on fat cat, 'the anal staircase',
by coil.
who can tell what's right when some artists are using such mangled sounds
- 'you mean-' (toggle) '-that's supposed to sound like a snare?'
anyway, the sounds are fuller and the songs are longer at 33 rpm. more
bang for your buck.
