another bit of interesting stuff..
This guy I know actually got on to the Warp ChatterEngine with mIRC. He was
typing private messages to me, of course the raw server output was shown to
the chat because it's not running an IRC server, but after I told him he
should use the /quote command to talk (raw text to the server) it worked
fine.
I thought it was interesting anyway, I guess it works because the warp-chat
just reads what you write and puts it out anyway, and a connection is a
connection, whether it is through telnet or IRC.
One thing that seems to happen is that your IRCNAME info is dumped into the
"enter your name" prompt, so you have to /query <name> your name in after it
says it's too long.
I reckon though I'd rather use NetTerm or another telnet program to get on
though, even though it is just too much fun to use IRC to get there.
