well, i saw them here this weekend. anyone else come? 1st off, they had a
juno-60 if anyone cares which juno you were refrring to.
After hearing some good things about them, then seeing them live,
I was pretty dissapointed.
Granted, the drummer was excellent, but
overall, I COMPLetely disagree with your praise of their integration
of electronica with "rock". It seemed quite the contrary.
They would play some nice electronic beats along with real drums,
maybe a little melody with a synth, then launch into the "rock" stuff,
abandoning the keyboards/sequencing etc for thier guitars etc. The
eletronic stuff just seemed to be a little segway/intro for the main part
of each peice. It didn't seem as if they could "integrate" the two elements at
all, rather they would alternate between "rock" and "electro" stuff. It
was kinda boring, and rather unimpressive IMHO.
