not really. it was run by the same guys that run warp, that's about all. the two labels have nothing else in common musically or otherwise.

gift is nonfunctional. we do not glory (ho ho) in the past.

not any more. this is the danger of releasing info early. things change. and then people start to wonder why... :)

indeed. NME claims many peculiar things.

what you mean my squarepusher discography and christopher miller's aphex discography?

yes brilliant. likesay we will be adding relevant information onto the discography as and when we have the time. in a bizarre way my original warp discography started way back in '92/'93 whenever it was is the reason I work for warp now so I will not forget it but I have other priorities now (fortunately).

*sharpintakeofbreath* what you mean you don't advance order every warp release? :) yes this is an area I have being trying to address for some time unfortunately the limitedness of releases is not always easy to ascertain (see above).

I am well capable of satiating a trainspotter *koff koff* (bizarrely - chatting with CiM today we decided that although we though we were pretty anal in our day we have nothing on people like Gonzi (not to encourage you mate at all) nowadays) but the majority of people (which is not the IDM list) do not give a shit about track times so trainspotters have to wait.
quoted 1 line but its still full of Designers Republic/Warp in-jokes.>but its still full of Designers Republic/Warp in-jokes.
sorry I don't get the 'in-joke' bit. DR/Warp have never really been in to in jokes. if anything we're out-joke people. is the blech CD cover an in-joke?

a bit like the warp shop used to be then ;) this is definitely not what warp is about we all hate that sort of thing. we are reasonable people. g.
