Anyone else out there got Seefeel's 'Ch-Vox'? I was browsing through
a record store the other day, looking for an excuse to spend thirty
quid on something. I was hoping to find 'Succour', but found 'Ch-Vox'
instead. Hadn't heard of it before, although it was apparently
released in the UK some time this year (anyone know when?). Oh, it's
on the Rephlex label. Does this mean Seefeel have parted company with
Warp?
As for the music itself -- very minimalist, even by Seefeel/Clifford
standards! Very similar to Aphex Twin's 'SAW2', but a bit shorter
(it's only about 33 mins long).
Also bought Photek's 'The Hidden Camera'. It's been out a while but I
never did get round to buying it the first time. Nice
jungle/acid-jazz fusions, sounding more like Red Snapper than Goldie.
