arrested over suspected gun offenses this weekend - after taking two
tanks to a New Age road protest. Thirty police with sniffer dogs
searched the former KLF frontman's farmhouse before taking him to the
A30 protest camp at Fairmile near Honiton, Devon, England. They seized
the Saracen tanks, fitted with de-activated grenade launchers and
experimental 1970s sonic weapons. Cauty, released on bail after being
held for 12 hours, says, "I suppose if you take two tanks to a road
protest you've got to expect the authorities to get involved." The
39-year-old star moved the tanks onto the woodland site to entertain
protesters opposed to the new A30 dual carriage way. But according to
locals, the worst Cauty has done is blast PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON across
the countryside. I just think that is too hysterical - I would pay money
to see a tank blasting Puff the Magic Dragon on 30,000 watt speakers
