As far as I'm aware, there are no restrictions yet in place for acoustic weaponry - at least, not on this side of the atlantic (not counting disturbing the peace!) I read a review, completely by chance, in some car magazine about Jimmy's two Saracen APC's and associated sound weaponry. From what I recall, they were 'only' packing something like 120 dBA but he was working on this. Something to do with the sound frequency and the pitch of the noise is what causes the discomfiting effect. He had sonic weapon mounted on the turret of one of his tanks, and it really looked mental!
