Underground techno is better because aboveground techno (at least here in
the US) begins with "La Macarena" and ends with whichever 2Unlimited song
you'd like to pick (I can't tell them apart.) Even in Europe, I get the
impression that the songs that cross over to the mainstream tend to be
cheesy, tarted-up vocal versions of what are otherwise cool songs. Am I
wrong?
