I've given the album a fair share's worth of listening time. And though
the album did grow a little, by no means is it anything to praise. While
the writing process is quite unique, and each of the 26 sequences
(they're hardly songs) at times have wonderful rhythmic drive and
tightly written melody, the album lurches about, taking too many turns,
and gets lost in progress. In all, Music for Adverts & Short Films is
pleasant background music, but beyond that, it's hopelessly average.
