paid cash money for a new ish of Magic Feet the other day (now that it costs,
it seems to be more widely available in the states) and culled some stuff which
might be of interest. big piece about Donnell Knox of Sonic Mind (for the hard
-core 313ers) but what looked more interesting to me was a blurb about the
Private Lightning Six, some sort of improvisational electro posse consisting of
(surprise) six members, including supahstah pat pulsinger and his iO crew.
they have an album either due or out on Morbid (a cheap offshoot) called "They
Came Down" -- anybody heard it? the review wasn't very handy, but the process
sounded kinda neat.
as always, zillions of reviews, though not quite as many labels i hadn't heard
of, and a seemingly higher fractionof reviews which tell me either 1) this is
awful gabber or 2) another well-crafted EP of [detroit/house/tech-house etc.]
from so-and-so etc. still, pretty darn good all around. oh, and i almost forgot
it seems there's a new (?) electron industries in the wings. they liked it,
it's a two tracker called _Sex Implosion_ and the artist is Delta.

ps. teep, what is this acid pimp 7"? is this new?
