I agree the individual sounds were beautiful. The problem was that they somehow
did not connect ... I tried, believe me. It was, after all, mainly Freeform
that I came to see that night. I didn't expect to dance, I expected to hear
what I hear in his recorded material: melody, intricate patterns, occasional
solid beats, interrupted by free and bleepy sounds that send me off into
another dimension. 'elastic speakers' and 'prowl' have me entranced ... that's
my disappoinment.
ehhhrmmm ... does this make any sense? (ofcourse it does, Helen)
b.t.w. did you have to tell the whole world that I apparently haven't the
foggiest about all those electronic gadgets? Now I'll never be able to show my
face anywhere again :-( I don't know how to live with the disgrace ...
