- Kinesthesia: Empathy Box (rephlex CD022)
Brutal IDM in the classic rephlex style. This release is
copyright 1994 but still fresh in 1996.
- It's All Becoming Clear... compilation (Clear 400CD)
An excellent compilation featuring rare or previously unreleased
mixes/tracks from plaid, gfq, clatterbox, spacepimp & dr. rockit.
Essential.
- Logical Progression compilation 2xCD (Lookin Good/Good Lookin)
The long awaited Lookin Good/Good Lookin comp is finally
out and 2 CDs worth nontheless! This includes all the label's
big hitters like bukem, photek, pfm, peshay, ils & solo and
many more. An intelligent jungle must have.
- Tone Tales From Tomorrow too (ntone CD9)
The second installment of the "ambient techno" half of Ninja Tune
sampler series mixed by the midas fingered Coldcut. Artists included
are Coldcut, Transcend, Joanna Law, Neotropic, Journeyman, Drome, MLO,
Hex, Real Life, Spacetime Continuum and a few others. Very good stuff.
- The Rumpus Rooms, Vol. 1 2xCD (ninebar)
A suprisingly good comp of previously unreleased tracks by T. Power,
DJ Food, Jake Slazenger, Scanner, Dr. Rockit, MLO, Repeat plus a few
others.
