Actually, I think Perry Farrell has his heart in the right place. He admires the rave concept, but he didn't have the contacts to put together a *real* rave. So he found the artists the mainstream press are aware of (remember, Moby is being praised by the old-fart mainstream critics as the "future of techno,") dug up a few easy-to-find outsiders, and rushed his own version of a rave together. I'm positive he'll do better next time, with a little time to research things. You should read the article in the current issue of Spin. Based on that article, I have a tiny glimmer of hope that he'll get it right this time, just like he got the first Lollapalooza right for its time. -Phil [----------] [---] [-----] [-----] [-----] [----------] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [----------] [----------] [---] [---] [----------] [----------] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [---] [--------] [-----] [-----] [---] [-----] [----------] Home is where the stereo is!
