Well, haven't heard much stuff from Bruce Gilbert, except some records from Wire (which I do hold in high esteem in spite their current desperate plagiarizers like Elastica), but I think as a fellow countryman of Jimi Tenor I should be a little bit offended about describing him just as a passing fad, since Jimi has been making music here in Finland well over a decade, anything from experimental industrial to jazz, and has definitely payed his dues. I understand from your perspective he must seem like some hopeful wannabe newcomer, but please try to give the guy some respect, even if his music was too gimmicky and "trendy" for you. Thrashy easy listening is not quite everything Jimi Tenor's all about... ;)
