The Swim Label is the creation of Ex-Wire band member Colin Newman. It
features excellent experimental techno artists like Cusp (Vaporspace) &
G-Man (LFO) among others. Most of the releases are 12" only. Although a
few months ago Swim released a CD of previously released 12"s called
Immersion remixes. This CD featured remixes by the likes of Claude Young,
Mic Harris, Mark Gage, Scanner & G-Man. I also got a 12" last week called
Immersion remixes, vol. 3 which had mixes by Klause Shultz and Cyclob.
IMHO I didn't think the Cusp CD was very good though. Definitely the
weakest of the Swim releases.
