The best thing to do is to stay away(far away) from the Rising High-licensed stuff on Instinct. IMO, They have completely screwed up the label for American listeners You want straightforward trance? There are many labels that come to mind (unfortunately, no too many in 'merika) Rising High, Touche(Belgian), Juice Records(Austrailia), and of course Harthouse/Eye-Q for more of a hypno-acid-trance workout on your ears. For stateside stuff, look to nearly any artist in the Bay area. My faves are Hardkiss Records & groups like God Within, Hawke & others. What is YOUR idea of trance? What machines/sounds do you like?
