yeah, yeah, yeah! ok, already! i admit it! it was me! but i wasn't
shouting!
as for the hardstep bit, you misinterpretted that bit! jungle has never,
and will never be ambient. it's the biggest oxymoron ever! some uk writer
thinks because the artists sample a few ambient tunes that it becomes
ambient...i think not!
hardstep is another style of jungle...or something they've just now
found a good word for...i'd much rather hear it called that than
intelligent jungle!
and as for 'intelligent'...i dislike the word when being used to describe
music.
and i guess drum & bass means nothing anymore...it's all known as jungle
now anyway!
there is a lot of good jungle that doesn't stick to the boring ragga
cookie cutter beats. it also seems to be the most easy to market by
the major labels as well...
