Count me in as another huge Jeff Mills fan, although i haven't
had the money to keep up with him recently. Waveform
Transmission v.1 is one of my all-time fave techno albums.
While we're on a Mills thread, what do people think of Leo
Anibaldi? I understand he is from the same
intelligent-hardcore stable. Ditto for Robert Armani's import
CDs--how do they fare?
Lastly, I would like to give a big thumbs-up to Hardfloor's
latest, "Respect". Fabulous hyper-rhythmic hard techno. Cost
me a pretty penny but more than worth it. I am also playing
Laurent Garnier's "Shot in the Dark" a lot these days. It's
really excellent--much better than anything else I've heard by
him, and certainly better than most of the hard-Detroit sounds
I've heard recently (Carl Craig etc.)
