First of all, Spanners is excellent. I only bought it yesterday so
I couldn't give you an in-depth review yet, but initial impressions
are very favourable. Very funky but also very melodic. I'm not convinced
about the "bolt" tracks yet, but these are all very short (most less than
1 minute) so I won't quibble. Buy it.
Anyone know if Bluff Limbo has been released on CD yet? I have been
pestering my (usually reliable) local record shop for ages now without
any luck, although they have had it on vinyl for ages.
Finally, could anyone recommend any ambient jungle? I'm really looking
for LPs, although I'd consider EPs if they were really excellent.
Mixmaster Morris mentioned DJ Crystal in one of his recent postings
but I seem to remember reading in the NME or Melody Maker that (s)he won't
be releasing an LP for quite a while (eg. months), and I can't wait that
long.
