I picked up a truly wild 12" on a brand new label called Plug Research
(out of SF, I think) last week. It's all over the map -- big chunky slow
breaks, whacked out freak beats, whispery ambience, and (somewhat awkward)
fast breaks.
Anyway, it seems like a pretty promising start from a new label.
Mixmaster Morris and Jamie Hodge are included in the shout out list --
can either of you guys provide any more info?
On now: "Who's to Blame?" - Sons of the Subway (definitely one of my fave
tracks of '94)
