if you're in Canada you should get in touch with the British Council
to see if they can help you out- altho i only think they help UK acts
go other places - but they might have some contacts as they tend to
be more arts/expermintal orientated.
also Wire Magazine has a website that might have some useful links -
there is also doug benford from sprawl in London who posts to this
list & runs a nite who might have some festie contacts -
the Wire Magazine people will have a lot of Festival info & if you
can get yourself a bill on Sonar Festival in Barcelona in June its
worth staying around till then. there's also a festival eye website
and a few others we put links to (more jazz/indie/alt-ish) festivals
