Kim's response to my posting his "What is Ambient?" and calling it "drivel"
was to mail me personally and attack me for criticizing him when I don't even
know him. The old critic vs. artist schtick. I responded with "I don't know
Stephen King either" and the response Kim sent me was what you saw quoted in
the last message.
Kim seems to feel that he is immune to criticism, but if he receives any he
should respond offensively. He also can't draw the line between writing an
article and an advertisement.
The reason I redirected my last response to the lists again was to show what
kind of person is running Silent, and why. Someone who apparently treats the
non-music-producing consumer as the unwashed masses who have no intelligence
of their own, is not someone who I would particularly want to support.
The "Moby Idol" syndrome all over again.
