and lets be honest, warp seems like they're loosing out in a number of ways here... if they did a proper show with say... Clark, BOC, Ae, afx, squarepusher... throw in a little seefeel and plaid... add some Shadetek and Weatherall DJing... doesn't EVERYONE want that?... i saw on a blog someone saying that if BOC toured the US they would follow them like Grateful Dead groopies... warp could have the whole NE flying in for a big show... on the merch alone they could make "dumb quid." hell, record the whole thing, sell the dvd for the next 400 years. endless labels would do anything for the history and LIVING, PLAYING ROSTER that warp has... this era will not last forever, this must be considered! it is completely foolish to not properly celebrate... specifically in new york :) that said, i'm glad it's not just Battles and GangGang (though i love em, at least GGD)... heck, get Vincent Gallo to do a set! ha!

definitely agreed about Battles (though i certainly enjoyed their first eps-era live more), but speaking for most newyork-area-folk, Battles play often, while what we hardly get is proper electronic shows! btw, what are Clark's live shows like these day? i only saw him once do a DJ set way back in the day at the Squarepusher Warp event at the Frying Pan in NewYork and he wasn't spinning his own stuff...
