First off, thanks to everyone who suggested new music for me. If you haven't heard any Chessie's music, I highly suggest you do. The best way I can describe it is both post rock and electronic ambient. The kind of music you can listen to on your headphones and lose yourself in. I have Chessie's three full lengths, *every* song I enjoy, and I was wondering if anyone knows if they have anything in the works. Or maybe other artists that are similar in sound and feeling. thanks ak

Thanks to the original Chessie suggestion, I went ahead and ordered the latest album by them (him actually I think), and also M83's two albums today. Looking forward to hearing them in full, bought them based on Amazon's sound clips. Great recommendations! :) -- jr On Wed, 18 Aug 2004 10:17:23 -0700, Nth 808 <nth808@hotmail.com> wrote:

If you like Chessie _that much_ you may want to track down some Lorelei, it's Stephen's early 90s three piece band. I saw them play an in-store in DC a bazillion years ago (ok, 1995 maybe) and they were pretty good as I recall. Nick --- Oneaphex@aol.com wrote:
