I wouldn't say they are "on Warp", by the looks of it Warp is just going to be their Eruopean distributor, much like what they did with Tortoise "Standards". "Standards". Exactly, they are on Touch & Go. I must say I am a bit surprised with this. I can see why Warp have distributed Tortoise, but the !!! samples I heard are disappointing. And I don't like Out Hud either. There are many american bands around that maybe deserved more attention than these ones... I hate it when people say that. It's easy to forget that at the end of the day Warp is run by normal people like you and me, and theyre only going to release/distribute music that they like. Obviously they like something about !!!, and wheter or not you agree with it is sort of irrelevant. Warp has come in for a lot of unfair (imo) stick about who it's releasing records by, because afterall it's not really up to us to judge.
