http://www.xmradio.com) are proud to bring you The LaunchPad radio show
on the XM Radio channel, The Move. This program will highlight Up and
Coming DJs in a prime time spot on the XM Radio network. While this term
is loosely defined, we feel that 'up and coming' refers to DJs who have
not yet broken out on the National DJ scene nor have been highlighted in
any of the large, national DJ / Dance Culture magazines such as Urb. The
show airs weekly from 8-10 pm on The Move channel, and will focus on the
following genres of dance music: Techno, House, D&B,
Downtempo/experimental, Progressive/trance, and Breaks.
The show that my partners and I produce is devoted to Downtempo /
Experimental / IDM music. Since we are on "The Move" channel in a prime
time slot, we need to keep our format within the channel's description:
"The future of dance is here! The Move is America's window into Rave and
Club culture, 24 hours a day. Our vinyl collection combines Techno,
Trance, House, Jungle and 2-step cuts that make you Move. Each day we
feature world class DJ's mixing cutting edge electronic dance music from
around the world. It's the ultimate radio adrenaline rush." (from

Because the show is 2 hours long, we need a set that's roughly an hour
from each DJ - 2 sets get highlighted every week. You can embed your own
productions in the mix but remember the focus is on you as a DJ. Further,
we need a complete play list and contact information with your CD. We
evaluate CDs on mixing skill, track selection, programming, and
originality/innovation. We'll play your set, review the CD, and make sure
all our listeners hear your name enough times to make it worth your time.
We will also feature your bio and booking information on the Metatrack
website..

2. A brief bio if you like.
