Sandanista is the final and greatest album of the Clash-
It's the precursor to IDM- with samples, multilayering,
A real sense of space time continuum. It's just as hard as Combat Rock
and London Calling- political message- but it's much deeper.
The motor's worn, but it still rocks.
RIP Joe Strummer.

Subject: [idm] Grooves Magazine
Just wanted to share a recent discovery with the rest of the IDMers out
there. I had the great fortune of coming across a wonderful little
magazine
called "Grooves" yesterday while shopping at, of all places, my local
Barnes
& Noble book store. The mag was sort of misplaced with all of the
Poetry
quarterlies and art mags, but it contains several detailed interviews
and
articles about Kettel, Mum, etc. Amnybody know anything about this? I
believe it was issue # 9 if I am not mistaken, although it was the first
I
had ever heard of it - at any rate go pick it up. Blows URB and XLR8R
and
such out of the water.
