While we're talking about Bill Bruford and John Wetton, somebody's got to mention the eponymous debut album by the group U.K.! Completing the four-some is Allan Holdsworth (says AMG:"widely considered to be one of the finest instrumentalists in all of jazz fusion, yet has never truly received the recognition that he so rightfully deserves") and Eddie Jobson, no slacker either on keyboards and electric violin - and you've got the ingredients for an incredible album of virtuosity, musicality, and atmosphere. Truly a prog-rock masterpiece! For some reason, hearing "Jazz Fusion" and "recognition that he so rightfully deserves" in the same sentence just seems wrong :)

Perhaps...but have you heard Andrew Peklar?
