Just wondering if anyone went? and what they thought cuz i didnt see anyone list anything. i flew from FL to see the party and i was gonna record it but the doorman said no video cameras. i showed up like an hour late when i showed up 8 bold souls was getting ready to perform. they are amazing! MAD PROPS! the second band dont really know who they were..... dont care they were bad. Mouse on Mars is incredible of course. i believe they played almost everyone genre of music icluding noise. and they only had like 30 minutes to play so i believe i deserved more M.o.M. for my money. everything else was kind of boring or annoying up until tortoise, they were pretty damn amazing. glad i ate a bunch of mushrooms........... it was fun. anyone else go? You were on mushrooms and bored by a bunch of live bands? They must've seriously sucked the butt. My opinion: Isotope 217 is a lot better of a live band than Tortoise. Also, 30 minutes of MoM is definitely not enough. -Aaron On Friday, September 20, 2002, at 01:11 PM, DJSTiK420@aol.com wrote:

i disagree about isotope vs. tortoise. i think johnny herndon opens up both ways ,but his drummin just rips tortoise live to shreds vs. tortoise on record...whereas isotope are great live ,but sound a lot like they do on record anyway...so i think tortoise ends up being a better live group ,cause they tear it up instead of being so controlled and calm...blah blah blah he said. d __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
