Greetings, idm-ers! We're putting together a sound system for Burning Man this year and are seeking people to come play! It may or may not be common knowledge that most of the music played by the myriad of systems down there is severely lacking in variety - lots of epic and psy-trance, some bland progressive house, and a pitiful smattering of anything really interesting (I was giddy to find even nu-skool breaks last year!) We're aiming to do our bit this year and bring something a bit more tasty to the party.
What we're looking for are people who are planning on going this year that would be willing to come and play for/with us. Our planned foci are idm, electro, minimal house/techno - anything interesting or slightly cutting edge, really. Live performances are preferable but I commend the bravery of anybody willing to bring their gear into that corrosive environment. We've got some cool stuff lined up already but can never have too much!
