You might mean The Doves album "Lost Soul" which is on a label called "Heavenly". No angels, sorry, but there you go... that's your mind doing funny things :-) The guys in Doves used to be a more electronic instrumental duo called Sub Sub, which is where I know them from. Now they've gone vocal, but this album is rather good, if not exactly IDM (to quote you *cough cough*). After two degrees from Duke, a year working for the now debunked Dot records in Sweden, and starting Conception Recordings, I've decided I miss school a bit. What I'm wondering is, does anyone out there know a good school for post graduate studies in music technology or sound design (focused on technology and possibly film) that they can recommend? My only problem is most music technology programs are for a masters in Music which prerequisites a BA in Music and I only have a degree in Computer science and English. Any help would be great! (yes I dream of playing around with csound, Reaktor, MAX/MSP etc and getting credit and then maybe working on films or programming for NI. It's a dream!) MJ PS please be nice and respond off the list If you would like to follow this thread please email me ------------------------------------------------------- http://www.conceptionrecordings.com New audio up! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
