Yeah, this was one of my first purchases in ages,
and i thought it was really good. Both discs are just quality
throughout.
also been listening to Req on Warp, really nicey dub-like hip hop
electronica cross over. Taylor Savvy on Kitty-Yo, this record is so
f#@king funny, smooth, suave, tongue in cheek soul and sleaze, and finally
checked out the Nanoloop compilation, all made on the gameboy software.
The Nanoloop comp was surprisingly good, i was expecting more a novelty
record, and some of them have that kind of kitsch, but for example the
Vladislav Delay track on their is so amazing, and demonstrates how people
carry their own sound, as opposd to just the software they are working
with.
