Are you kidding!?
Boards of Canada (especially M.H.T.R.T.C.) to me seems
to be good time music...in a way. A few of the tracks
on that release encourage the listener to a good time,
almost like the moment has been captured, bringing the
listener to a good place, a place of memories...of the
good times.
Like the track 7 (T.H.S.) the people in the back
ground...at times sounds like people getting together
laughing, having fun....and its not just
children...the cover almost looks like a family out of
the 70's, and the over all tone of the album, the use
of sounds...are reminiscent of a 70's educational
slide show.
This is positive music, take into account track
17...go on listen to it...its about
censorship....hence the name MUSIC HAS THE RIGHT TO
CHILDREN!! HINT HINT....there is a message here...it
says loud and clear, "listen, music is good, music is
educational, music is fun, and everyone has the right
to it! SO STOP CENSORING US, STOP TELLING CHILDREN
THEY NEED PARENTAL SUPERVISION TO BUY ART, MUSIC, STOP
LIMITING THE CHOICES, AND STOP SPOON FEEDING OUR
CHILDREN WITH WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO HEAR....MUSIC HAS
THE RIGHT TO CHILDREN!!!!
ok most of that is me talking, but I'll bet the
feelings are mutual with B.O.C. ---DONE!
sorry for all the caps, but to assume such a thing is
insane, and to spread such non-sense, or to even speak
of it with-out SOLID evidence spreads rumors.....and
rumors like that get you censored!....and Im a major
advocate for ANTI-CENSORSHIP!
Regards,
xh
