two different sublabels of the mille plateaux-force inc-position chrome-ritornell label collecive. to my ears, force tracks has more of an experimental tech-house sound whereas force inc is more of an experimental techno label. for more info check the label websites at: Force Tracks: http://www.force-tracks.net/ft/ Force Inc: http://www.force-inc.net/fim/ btw: check out the new MP3 MAGAZINE on the force inc website that features monthly exclusive mp3 files from label producers. free mp3s up there now by dan abrams (shuttle358) and tomas jirku amongst others this month. does anybody have the tracks from issue 01 they would like to share? check it out at: http://www.force-inc.net/mp3/index.html -- -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Force, Inc is the original label- Force Tracks is a sublabel dedicated to house (or maybe just dancable tracks). Mille Plateaux, Ritornell and Position Chrome are the other off shoots. Just call 'em the Homestead of their era, roster-wise (anybody remember Grass Records?) -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Yeah. They had Baboon, became Wind Up, brought us Creed, dropped Baboon, and then brought us Drowning Pool. Hooray. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
