Ok I know I'm really late on this one, but I *just* purchased a copy of Farmers Manual - Explorers We. (fucking awesome IMO) Over past few months I've increasingly become more and more fanatic about glitchy/click music, but damn, why is it I can only enjoy this music with headphones??? It is impossible for me to play thru the home stereo without having to run to volume knob every 10 seconds to either raise or lower it. I fucking hate this music for making me sit on my ass and do nothing but read this list In order for me to enjoy this shit I have to sit here, put the headphones on, and read, fuck what's so intelligent about reading the IDM list....pfft.(sarcasm) ok I have no point, Explorers We is amazing wonder why it took me so long to get into this glitchy noise shit......... =g= ps: I'm apeshit over 12K label. I'm sure some of you would love it. "Anything that separates us is junk. I always thought that was their weakest release, so you're in for a real treat if you're just getting into it.

I thought the Sakata/Chartier CD was pretty reet, but none of their other offerings have tickled my fancy as of yet. -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'm sure some of you would love it. you bet we do... you might wanna go read the BiP_HOp webzine with the interviews of labels owners from 12K, Fällt, Erstwhile, Sprawl Imprint, Staalplaat, Morr Music... philippe ************************************************************** http://www.bip-hop.com unconventional sound adventures, adventurous & creative electronica... ************************************************************** TENNIS : europe on horseback [bleep 03] Europe on Horseback, as its title suggests, is a relaxed voyage. The rhythms slowly draw you into a cushioned saddle and an electronic trot then begins, taking us through fields of bubble bass, valleys of sonic glitches, and mountains blooming with digitalia. Not quite as minimal as Pole but just as deep. They never break into a gallop, conserving energy rather than letting it run wild. This record is a form of deconstructed dub / house which avoids 4/4 time at every corner creating a relaxed, challenging and accessible electronica lined with interesting bass lines. A great full-length from bip-hop stables.
