i like it. + it has a beautiful cover. some ppl seem to have a problem with the fact that the cd version isn't separated into tracks. i personally find that like delay's other works it's meant to be listened to as a whole anyway. the abrupt "splash" at the 1 hr mark surprised me... definitely not a device ppl would normally associate with delay's music. anyway does anyone know where the dialogue samples on the cd are from? jon. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I think that the dialogue is from Heat, a long long action/cops n robbers movie featuring Val Kilmer, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, among others. Very good flick, even though I don't usually like action movies... If it is Heat, an interesting sidenote is that DJ Shadow dialogue from the same movie in the cops n robbers version of Stem. vzaem

Oh my god. That was a bad movie. A baaaaad movie. I'm sure it was a good play originally, and the movie has good enough actors (Spacey, Penn), but damn, it's horrible. Badly written, scenery-chewing scenes abound. eek. off topic. / wells oliver // wells@submute.net " [ deletia ] " --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
