Does the old Pete Namlook / Wassisname track, Tea with Ivor Cutler, actually feature the vocal stylings of the man himself, or is it purely a namecheck? Ivor Cutler...now we're talking! I don't think Ivor is actually on the Namlook track if I remember right....but Ivor's "Jammy Smears"...what a record. Incidentally anyone now thinking Ivor is some electronic genius should take note he's actually a bizarre spoken word/poet guy. Jeff on 1/11/01 6:29 AM, DavidASim@aol.com at DavidASim@aol.com wrote:

I'd seriously hoped he would be on the Namlook, tho... the concept of chilled psych ambient coupled with Ivor's beautiful/funny/eccentric poems is tantalising. This is rather why I wish that the Blue Jam LP had been out on vinyl - the idea of that being played to a stoned chill-out room is simply amazing. That's my next project planned then: watch this space. d. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
