[ok in the above thing (equation?) where there are dashes there is a symbol that looks like a capital L that was flipped over a line and turned 45 degrees counter-clockwise so it looks like a top right corner of a square] so the story is i read an article in urb that featured some top tens from a few artists, and this was one of phoenecia's picks. have never heard of it before. after the title there was in parenthesis: (random regenerative max) [and then] (MSP patch) 1. it says max. should it say mix? 2. MSP patch. presumably the label. never heard of it, either. 3. Is this some elaborate joke that i dont get? any info would be appreciated! oh, and not like anybody cares but here is phoenecias top ten in whole -delarosa and asora/backsome (schematic) -beta bodega coalition/V.A. B2 (beta bodega) -REQ/daily beats 2 (skint) -dynamo/18 degrees (din) -Monolake/fragile.static. (MLi) -freeform/spandoe (leaf) -SND/travelog (SND) -Errorsmith (white label) -richard devine (lip switch) -the autechre one Leif --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I would assume that this is a file (a random regenerative one at that!) that AE created in max, and distributed. I wondered about that myself when I saw it. Anybody who knows max care to elaborate? -Matt- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I would guess it is an MSP patch (...). MSP being a set of objects you can use in Max to work with audio. Max being a visual programming environment to work with music and media. g. -- Guillaume Grenier - gollum@videotron.ca in space there is no north in space there is no south in space there is no east in space there is no west --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
