Hi again. What is the policy of the IDM list with respect to CD-Rs and trading. Is the discussion of it allowed, prohibited or what? While I realize many of you are musicians (I purchased the Ambient@hyperreal.org 2CD recently), I personally don't think that a few CD-Rs here and there is so bad. Do you any of you trade CD-rs or are willing to? Bubbye! Discussion of CD-R and MP3 trading has been highly discouraged in the past, although I think it has more to do with list traffic issues than ethical ones. I expect that there are probably other online forums that are dedicated to music trading, so you might be better served finding one and taking such discussions over there.
