Two question for the overinformed: First, I'm very curious about Perlon Records, and am wondering where a good place to start is with them. Preferably vinyl, but I'm totally open to anything. The reason I ask is because I've just bought that Matthew Herbert mix on Tresor -- wow, what an incredible mix-- and it contains a number of nice cuts from Perlon. Is Perlon uniformly, can't-go-wrong great, or are there holes within? Also, I've somehow ended up with a German collection on Traum called Electronic Music of Buenos Aires, which collects music by Gustava Lamas, Leo Garcia, Leandro Fresco, Ocio and others, and am wondering what the infrastructure/label world is like in South America. Or, easier, what are the best labels putting out South American electronic music (preferably music that retains some sort of South American feel)? As if I need *another* continent to scour for music ... rr --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Perlon 10 is a double pack compilation. Could be a nice place to start. The records vary quite a bit, so I'd recommend listening before buying. -- bbn@saoul.com 604.551.5227 3079 w10th vancouver bc canada v6k 2k7 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
