I picked up "Anna" by Reuber today. Jesus. I cant believe I've passed over this before. I'm sure they've been discussed on the list (especially since the record is dated 1999) but I would love some info. Are there more releases? Will there be more releases? I checked the website (staubgold.com) but had no luck. The last two tracks just blew me away. Can't wait to see how they evolve over the next few years. Very promising. cheers, sam --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Reuber is the guise of Timo Reuber who is one of the members of the Cologne kraut-electronica outfit Klangwart. I only listened to the Reuber album once or twice at the record shop and it didnt impress me enough to buy but i am a big fan of the Klangwart releases. A great ambient koln meets krautrock-type sound. I'm not really familiar with the works of the early electronic pioneers so i can give any retro comparisons but i can recommend all their releases. The stuff i have so far (and really enjoy): . Klangwart: Immerland casette (Klangstelle) . Klangwart: Inkiek 3"cd (Klangstelle) . Klangwart: Köln-Olpe LP (Klangstelle) . Klangwart: Zwei LP (Klangstelle) . Klangwart/Tarkatak split 7" (Staubgold) -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
